Jaipur : The final competition of Smart India Hackathon 2023 was inaugurated at Manipal University, Jaipur, in which about 180 participants from 30 teams from different states of the country are participating. IAS Dr. Aarushi Malik, Divisional Commissioner Jaipur and special guest Richa Sharma, Deputy Commissioner, Industries and Commerce Department were present as the guests of the program. The Divisional Commissioner explained the basic mantra of success as ABC to all the participants.
 
Pro-President of the University, Commodore (Dr.) Jawahar Jangir told the participants about the University and also explained the importance of Intellectual Property and called upon them to join the Central Government's Developed India@2047 resolution. In this coding competition, which will run continuously for 36 hours, all the participants will suggest software solutions for the problems given by the Government of Gujarat and Government of Jharkhand, in which the winner in each category will be given a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh by the Government of India. AICTE Chairman Prof. TG Sitharam and Vice Chairman Prof. Abhay Jere joined through virtual medium in the central inauguration program.
 
During this competition, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will connect and communicate with the participants through virtual medium. Registrar of the University, Dr. Neetu Bhatnagar expressed special gratitude to all the guests and participants and welcomed them to the University campus and told about the cultural heritage of Jaipur. It is noteworthy that Manipal University, Jaipur is one of the selected nodal centers of this prestigious competition.
