Jaipur : Padma Shri Awardee, Laxman Singh was felicitated by President Dr. G.K. Prabhu, in the presence of Pro-President Commodore (Dr.) Jawahar M Jangir & Registrar, Dr. Nitu Bhatnagar of Manipal University Jaipur, on his visit to university campus on 8 November 2023. During his visit, he interacted with the students and faculty members of the Faculty of Arts, shared his knowledge and experience of building water conservation and natural resource management systems for the rural communities in drought-prone districts of Rajasthan state. The event was organized under the leadership of Dean Faculty of Arts, Prof. Komal Audichya.
