Jaipur, 16 September: 
The Faculty of Design and Faculty of Arts, Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ), successfully hosted their First-Year Orientation Program. The event marked the formal welcome of newly admitted students of design, media, arts, humanities, psychology, sports and Economics. students to the University. The program commenced with a ceremonial lamp lighting and a warm welcome address.

President Prof. N. N. Sharma said that “We are excited to welcome our new students and provide them with the tools and connections they need to thrive.” He said that Our orientation program is designed to not only introduce students to our campus but also to inspire and equip them for a successful university experience.

Registrar-MUJ, Dr. Nitu Bhatnagar, addressed the gathering, emphasizing MUJ’s commitment to nurturing creativity and innovation. Dr. Madhura Yadav, Dean of the Faculty of Design, introduced the faculty’s diverse offerings and encouraged students to embrace experimentation and critical thinking. The Director of DSW, Dr. Anil Dutt Vyas, and Chief Warden, Col. Ajay Singh Shekhawat, offered insights into campus life and student support services.

Dr. Fakira Mohan Nahak, Director, School of Media and Communications and Dr. Trishu Sharma, Director, School of Humanities and Social Sciences also addressed and welcomed all the students.
 
The newly admitted students and their parents expressed excitement and appreciation for the comprehensive program. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, leaving the audience motivated and eager to embark on their academic journey at MUJ. It was a great opportunity for the news students to explore the campus and learn more about the incredible journey ahead.
