Admissions open for Ben-Gurion University’s MSc. in Mechanical Engineering
October 10, 2022: Admissions are now open for the MSc. Program in Mechanical Engineering at the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU), Israel. The aim of the M.Sc. program is to provide the students with expertise and advanced knowledge in mechanical engineering which will help them center their careers and create technologies to meet a wide range of human needs. Students graduating with an M.Sc. degree are equipped to assume senior R&D positions in the industry and may continue with their Ph.D. studies. Program delivery: The MSc program is completed within 2 academic years (4 semesters) and taught completely in English. The fields of specialization in Mechanical Engineering programs include Robotics, Control, Autonomous Systems, Solid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics, Energy Technologies, Bio inspired Materials and Systems, Micro and Nano-Electromechanical Systems, System Design and Monitoring and Particular materials Technology. Admission Cycle: Applications are now being accepted for Spring 2023. Application deadline: Rolling Admission Tuition: Tuition fee for MSc program is approximately $5,000 USD per year. Eligibility Requirements: · A B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering or in closely related fields from an accredited institution, at a minimum GPA of 80/100.· A TOEFL score of at least 85/120 or the equivalent score in an internationally recognized English proficiency exam is required. The English proficiency requirement is waived for applicants who received their B.Sc. degree in a program taught in English.· GRE is recommended but not required.· An international applicant should contact a potential advisor from the Department of ME prior to applying to the M.Sc. program. Scholarship: Outstanding students are eligible for scholarships which can cover the tuition fees and provide living expenses.
