Jaipur : School of Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Manipal University Jaipur has organised 3rd International Conference on “Intelligent Computing Techniques for Smart Energy Systems (ICTSES-2023)” in collaboration with National Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand, Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur & Indian Institute of Information Technology, Ranchi recently. Professor Amit Soni, Dr Shilpi Birla, Dr Neha Singh, and Mr Samarendra Pratap Singh convened the conference. The distinguished guest for the occasion was Professor Rajeev Ahuja, who serves as the Director of IIT Ropar and is also currently acting as the officiating Director of IIT Guwahati. The inaugural ceremony was graced with the presence of Prof. G.K. Prabhu, President, Commodore (Dr) Jawahar M Jangir, Pro-President, Dr. Nitu Bhatnagar, Registrar, Prof. Arun Shanbhag, Dean FoE, Manipal University Jaipur. Prof. Amit Soni welcomed all the guests and participants, Dr. Amit Saraswat introduced the keynote speakers.
 
The event featured a series of enlightening keynote sessions and invited sessions each delivered by influential figures in their respective fields. Total 51 papers selected from 175 papers received across the globe which were presented in various sessions in two days. However, the true highlight of the conference was the riveting panel discussion on India Semiconductor Mission: Fostering Academia & Industry Collaboration Prospects. Bringing together a diverse group of experts from Industry & Academia, along with Chief Guest, Dr. Anshuman Tripathi (Senior Programme Director, NTU Singapore), Prof. B. L. Ahuja (Emeritus Scientist CSIR, Director, Institute of Engineering & Technology, MLSU, Udaipur), Dr. Umesh Chand (Senior Scientist & Team Lead A*Star Microelectronics, Singapore), Mr. Sudhir Nayak (IESA Chairman Gujarat, founder eInfochips), Dr. Manish Hooda (Head Technology Development Division at Semi-Conductor Laboratory Department of Space Govt of India),  Prof. N. N. Sharma (Pro-Vice Chancellor (Strategy & Planning), Prof. Jagannath Korody ( Director - MIT Bengaluru), Mr. Rohit K Okhlyan (Director R&D, Synopsys, Noida), Dr. Satish Chandra Tiwari (Manager DFT, NXP semiconductors, Noida were distinguished panellist. Prof. Manish Tiwari was the moderator. The panel delved into critical issues and challenges facing by the academia and industry. The dynamic exchange of perspectives, ideas, and experiences during the panel discussion not only provided a holistic view of the India Semiconductor Mission but also ignited thought-provoking conversations among attendees.
